COVID CONNECTIONS

MAR-APR 2020, Acrylic and Ink on Paper

When the world shut down last March and I had to cut my semester abroad in Ireland short, I felt heartbroken and disconnected. Those two weeks of post flight quarantine were brutal and lonely, and I found myself reaching out to others by text to find comfort. It was a unique (and almost oxymoronic) era where everybody wasn't alone in the fact that they were alone.

So I was inspired to make a daily practice that involved conversations that would combat isolation, and show the different ways people have handled this challenge.
